In the mountainous region of Gangwon-do on South Korea’s eastern coast, wildfires, both small and large, recur year after year. In the spring of 2023, a wildfire that broke out in Gyeongpo, Gangneung, reduced 551 homes to ashes in the span of a few hours. This film tells the story of a family who lost their home in that fire. After the fire, the family of three moves to a village where their great-aunt lives. In this strange place, their days are tangled with worry, emotional scars, and an uncertain future. The mother struggles with insomnia, while the father tries to adapt, learning to cook at great-aunt's restaurant. Their young son, who has just started elementary school, begins to make up a story in his mind - a little tale born of mixed emotions and lingering anxiety.
