Overview

During the Paraguayan dictatorship, Mariela, a young mother and housewife, borrows a camera and begins recording her daily life. Her violent and controlling husband, Ramón, leads a secret life that she begins to suspect. One day, she receives an unexpected offer: to use the camera to investigate her husband and his associates, in exchange for a chance to escape to a life of freedom.
