Some people think they were born in the wrong place. Joy wasn’t — but she just never actually lived there. Born to an American father she never knew and a French mother, Joy has spent her life trapped in a sleepy valley in the Vosges mountains, bored out of her mind. That is, until she stumbles upon the body of a dead cowboy.
