Emili and her mother run a small restaurant in a forgotten town in Mexico. Surprisingly, a major tv network has announced an open casting call. Emili, who dreams of becoming an actress, sees it as the opportunity of a lifetime. She has the support of her friends, El Maradona and Antonia, who believe she can make it.
