Lena Helbing from Lübeck moves into a vacant house in Schwanitz that is rumoured to be haunted. It is said that the ghost of Inge Nolden haunts the house, who was abandoned by her husband many years ago and hanged herself out of grief. And lo and behold: the morning after her first night there, Lena Helbing is found hanged in the attic, just like Inge Nolden. Hauke Jacobs, Hannah Wagner and Jule Christiansen are faced with a mystery. For Töteberg, Bleckmann and the rest of Schwanitz, however, it becomes clear after a séance at the latest: old Mrs Nolden is back and will soon claim her next victim. But the matter is more complicated than that – and has to do with an old, unsolved crime ...
