Montevideo, the 90's. Clara is a girl victim of school bullying who was never invited to a birthday party. In the playground, she watches how some classmates are giving birthday cards to several girls and boys… but not to her. But this time something is going to change. A hairdresser makes her a special hairstyle for the occasion and her mother fixes a dress that she could never wear before. Clara wants to know what it feels like to go to a birthday party and she uses imagination and creativity to achieve it.
