Oliver Schulz is a German visual effects supervisor at RISE Visual Effects Studios. Schulz began his career in visual effects in 2011 at RISE as a 3D artist/matte painter, before advancing through roles including CG supervisor. Over the years, he rose to become a VFX supervisor at RISE. Among his notable film credits is Avengers: Infinity War (2018), where he supervised VFX sequences for RISE, including its post-credit scene and complex environment and character-arm reconstruction work. His VFX credits also include work on films such as Black Panther (2018) and Blue Beetle (2023). Schulz has spoken about his early interest in drawing, painting, and nature — influences that initially drew him toward creative arts. Growing up, he was inspired by movies like Star Wars, which led him to explore digital creation tools, such as 3D modelling software.
