Biography

Born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa in 1966. Takes up individual image production from 1986. Joins Voyant Cinémathèque in 1988. Majors in image study in Kyoto College of Art – currently the Kyoto University of Art and Design – and studies under Professor Toshio Matsumoto. Various presentations in film festivals worldwide, such as the Osnabrück Experimental Film Festival. Presently active mainly in video-making, residing in Kyoto.
