Biography

Jiby Thomas is a sound designer, editor, and mix engineer working in the South Indian independent film scene. His practice spans across feature films, series, and music videos, where he brings a distinctive approach to sound as both texture and storytelling. His debut feature, Hours on Earth and Somewhere Beyond (2022), was selected at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK), introducing his work to the festival circuit. Since then, he has collaborated with filmmakers and musicians across the region on shorts, features, and music videos.
