Biography

Tomeu Bosch Femenias (Manacor, Mallorca, April 27, 2003) is an emerging filmmaker trained between Mallorca and Barcelona. He currently lives in Barcelona, where he is studying film at the Bande à Part film school. His work focuses on documentary filmmaking, with an intimate and territorial approach. On July 4, 2024, he premiered Ca Nostra, a documentary dedicated to his grandmother, as part of the Les Muses program in Manacor, with the support of Xitxeros amb Empenta. The screening was very well received, with over 200 attendees, and the film gained media attention with features on IB3 (Cinc Dies), the magazine 07500, and the newspaper AraBalears. He is currently beginning the distribution of his new short documentary, Estimada Sa Bastida, where he continues to explore themes of memory, place, and rootedness.
