Biography

Nicolas Rocca is a documentary filmmaker and video producer based in Boston. He began making short films as a teenager and went Emerson College, where he participated in several student film and television productions. While there, he also made a few documentary films of his own such as From A Distance: A Semester In Review, which captures the college student experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his final year at Emerson, he directed, produced and edited The North End (Revisited), a documentary examining the evolution of Boston’s North End neighborhood over the last five decades. He spent his final college semester in Los Angeles interning for Delirio Films, where he was a post-production intern on the Netflix documentary Will & Harper. Nicolas now works as a social media video producer at Boston University, creating engaging social media content for the university’s flagship channels.
