Nurcan Çoban
Biography
Born and raised in Diyarbakır Nurcan Çoban moved to Istanbul for a university education in 2016. While studying Management at Boğaziçi University, she also took elective courses from the Film Studies program, thus discovering her passion for cinema. She made her first fiction short film, Tengavî (Stuckness), in 2021, and her second short film, Güvenli Alan (Safe Space), in 2024. Currently, she is studying in the Cinema & TV master's program at İstanbul Bilgi University.
