Biography

James Light (born October 17, 2000) is an English composer, orchestrator and pianist for films, documentaries, and video games, and is currently based in Bradford in the UK. After graduating from Film Music at Leeds Conservatoire in 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree, he has gone on to work on multiple short student films. He has frequently worked with director Sam McLeod on The Package and The Inspiration. His other recent projects include Emily Davis' Nostalgia Trilogy, Jack Spreadbury's A Mime's Will, and Harvey Ryan's and Chloe Crocker's Smiley Faces.
