What's up? My name is Bárbara Escalante. I am passionate about exploring the grotesque: traumas, past wounds, and the rawest emotions. I believe that film is not just a medium, but a passion that explores the deepest beauty of pain and meaning. Through my short films, I seek to reveal what is hidden, what bothers us, and through this medium, heal not only my own wounds but also those of those who relate to the narratives. I seek to express vulnerability and create a safe space.
