Patrick Mayer, better known as Paluten, is a German web video producer and young adult novelist. He gained fame through the publication of Let's Plays and vlogs on his YouTube channel, which is now the most subscribed German-language channel in the gaming sector. Building on a web video series of the same name, Paluten created the Paluten FREEDOM series of young adult novels, which now comprises 10 books and is also set to be adapted into a feature film.
