
Gerry Bednob (born Gerald Baldeo; 1935 or 1936) is a Trinidadian-American comedian and actor. He is best known for his roles in the comedies The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, and Encino Man. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Bednob moved to Canada in 1963 and earned Bachelor's degree in sociology, working as a school counselor. He then began performing stand-up comedy and moving to Los Angeles in the late-70s and becoming an American citizen. His first acting role was in a 1993 episode of The Wonder Years, and he had since starred in several shows and films.
